Content Types: Blocks vs Collections
In TreeAMS, there are two content types:
- Content Blocks π a content block is used to store a piece of information in a format, such as text (article), picture, video, PowerPoint, etc. You can combine multiple and different content blocks to build a content collection i.e., manuals, training programs/courses, etc.
- Content Collections π a content collection is like a folder that helps you group related articles or materials under one topic or purpose. For example, you could create a "Customer Service" collection with articles about greeting customers, handling complaints, and keeping service standards high. Itβs an easy way to keep your content organized, reusable, and ready to share for things like training, manuals, or checklists!
Refer to the following illustration for the different types of content blocks and collections available on TreeAMS.
TreeAMS lets you use the same content in different ways, saving you time and effort. For example, if you have a manual on "Issue Handling" for your staff to manage customer complaints, you can also use the same content to create a training course for your frontliners. This ensures they are well-prepared for real situations. Plus, you only need to update the content once, and it automatically stays consistent across all uses. TreeAMS makes managing content simple!
Below picture shows you another example how you can combine different content blocks into a content collection.
