What is Video?
A Video content block is a feature that allows users to upload or embed videos directly into the platform. It is typically used to provide visual instructions, training materials, or demonstrations for employees or franchisees, ensuring clarity and engagement in learning or operational processes.
How to add a Video
- Go to Admin Site (Desk). Learn how you can switch to Admin Site (Desk) here!
- Select Content
- Click Content Library
- Click + Add Content Library
- For the content type, select Video. Refer to Content Types: Blocks vs Collections to learn more about different content types available on TreeAMS
- Add the video name
- Click Attach to add the video
- Select the video source.
In TreeAMS, you can add or upload your videos from different sources:
- My Device ➡️ select this if your video is already in your computer. Please note the file should be less than 150 mb to ensure quick uploads and smooth playback across all devices.
- Library ➡️ select this if you have uploaded the video in the content block's attachment.
- Link ➡️ select this if you have your video uploaded in other platforms like YouTube. 💡Quick tips: this method is recommended for you to save some storage space! You can upload a video to YouTube and unlist it. This way, you can still use your video in TreeAMS whilst saving storage space and protecting your IP.
- Camera ➡️ select this if you want to use your camera to create the video.
- Click Upload. Your video is uploaded! Please note that it's normal for the preview not to display, but rest assured, your video is still available on TreeAMS.
How to delete a Video
- From Content Library, select videos you want to delete
- Click Actions
- Click Delete
💡Quick Tips: If you have added any of these deleted videos to content collections, don't forget to delete these videos from the content collections too!
