How to Create an Audit

An Audit and an Audit Checklist are created through the same process.


To create your audit, you will need to create Questions, Questions Groups, and Quizzes. You might want to have these information in hand while you are creating an audit.

Creating an Audit using the Bottom-Up Approach

If you are just getting onboard the TreeAMS platform, it is recommended that you create questions, followed by quizzes, and then assemble the quizzes into an Audit.

Creating a Question

First, go to Audits in the navigation side bar. Here, you will see the number of questions and quizzes that you have set up.

Second, click on either Audit Question or Audit Checklist Question. Referring back to the previous article, determine if the audit you are creating is an Audit or an Audit Checklist.

Third, click on Add Question.

Creating a Quiz

When you are done creating questions, click on the "Home" button and go to Audits in the navigation side bar.

Then, click on either Audit Quiz or Audit Checklist Quiz.

Click on Add Quiz.

Creating an Audit

Once you are done creating all the Quizzes required for an Audit, refer to the steps as shown:

  1. Go to Audits in the navigation side bar.
  2. Under "Create Audits", click Audit to create a new Audit and to view the list of Audits that have been created.
  3. On the top right hand corner, click Add Audit.
  4. Fill in the Audit Name.
  5. At this juncture, if you are creating an Audit - Leave the checkbox for Is Checklist empty. If you are creating an Audit Checklist - Tick the checkbox for Is Checklist
  6. Select the Company that this audit is created under.
  7. If you are creating an Audit - specify the Benchmark Score of this audit.
  8. Then, add your "Quiz Templates". If you have already created your Quiz Templates, select them from the dropdown list.

Creating an Audit using the Top-Down Approach

This method is only recommended if you are familiar with the TreeAMS system OR when your site has been fully set up initially.

To start creating an Audit or Audit Checklist ,

  1. Go to Audits in the navigation side bar.
  2. Under "Create Audits", click Audit to create a new Audit and to view the list of Audits that have been created.
  3. On the top right hand corner, click Add Audit.
  4. Fill in the Audit Name.
  5. At this juncture, if you are creating an Audit - Leave the checkbox for Is Checklist empty. If you are creating an Audit Checklist - Tick the checkbox for Is Checklist
  6. Select the Company that this audit is created under.
  7. If you are creating an Audit - specify the Benchmark Score of this audit.
  8. Then, add your "Quiz Templates". If you have already created your Quiz Templates, select them from the dropdown list. If not, you can create a new Quiz Template by scrolling to the bottom and click Create New Quiz.   9. When you have created your quizzes, head back to the Audits page
