Making Edits to and Deleting a Module
Learn the basics of editing and deleting a module.
Based on the permissions that you are given, you may have the ability to edit and/or cancel and delete a module.
Edit Module
Only a module in the 'Draft' status can be edited.
To edit a 'Published' module, a new version has to be created which is explained in the next article.
Delete Module
There are three statuses of a module which are required for version control. To minimise major disruptions due to carelessness while deleting a module, there are extra steps implemented in order to delete an 'old' and a 'published module'.
Deleting a 'Draft' Module
Select the module. Click Actions to select Delete.
Deleting an 'Old' Module
Select the module. Click Actions to select Cancel.
Then, select the same module. Click Actions to select Delete. (Please proceed with caution as this information will be gone forever)
Deleting a 'Published' Module
Select the module. Click Actions to select Cancel.
Select the same module. Click Actions to select Delete. There will be two prompts. Select Yes for the first prompt and then click on the second underlined document to delete the Module that is being used in the Manuals Tree.
In the document, click on the Three Dots button and select Delete to permanently delete this module from the Manuals Tree.
Finally, you will be redirected to the previous page. Select the module. Click Actions to select Delete. (Please proceed with caution as this information will be gone forever)
