Audit Scoring
Know more about how Audit Scores are computed in TreeAMS
There can be two types of scoring - Points Scoring or Weightage Scoring
Terminologies used:
Points Available - the sum of points of all Questions in an Audit
Points Not Applicable - the sum of points of Questions that were marked as Not Applicable by the user answering the question
Points Eligible - used in the calculation of Score %
Points Scored - the sum of points of answers given
Score % - the Score percentage calculated using Points Scoring
Score % by Weightage - the Weighted Score percentage calculated using Weightage Scoring
This deducts the points of the Question from the total available score
Points Scoring
Points scoring is activated when the Weightage is not specified for the Audit Quizzes i.e., Weightage are 0.
The Points Eligible is calculated using the (sum of Points Available across all Quizzes) minus the (sum of Points Not Available across all Quizzes).
The Score % is calculated usign the (sum of Points Scored across all Quizzes) divided by the (Points Eligible) as shown above.
Weightage Scoring
Weightage scoring is activated when Weightage is specified and they total up to 100%.
The Score % by Weightage is first calculated for each Quiz in the Audit, followed by the Score % by Weightage for the Audit.
Another way to look at the Weightage scoring is where the
Score % by Weightage = (Score of Quiz 1 * Weightage of Quiz 1) + (Score of Quiz 2 * Weightage of Quiz 2)
